Carpe Diem: Consilio Et animis

My my my .. where do I begin? It’s Valentine ’s Day and I’m single. There’s nothing wrong with it, but – as a guy – it’s always kind of weird being the single dude on Valentine ’s Day. From one perspective it’s just another day. Through another lens it’s an important day. So which is it? If it were up to me, I wouldn’t even be single right now – but things happen. The biggest dilemma during valentine’s day is: what to do? Simple, yet complex. The small task of choosing one girl to be your “Valentine” is also a tough one. I know so many awesome, amazing women – how am I expected to choose one? I’m not insinuating that I ask all of them, because I don’t do that. But this always happens when you’re single: several different roads open up, where to go from here? At this point in time my eyes are open and I’m looking. The search continues: who’s that next girl that’s amazing enough to inspire me? Only time will tell (:
